Clyde “Slick” Jackson,

Funeral services for Hubert Clyde “Slick” Jackson, a Burr Valley, OK resident were held Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. Bob Graham officiating. Burial was in Wilson Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jackson was born May 29, 1922 to Hubert Coil and Vivian Gertrude (Broughton) Jackson at Olney, OK

and passed away January 11, 2019 at Coalgate, OK at the age of 96 years, 7 months and 13 days. He attended Burr Valley Schools and was a rancher/ cowboy. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. Slick married Annie Elizabeth Ray June 9, 1946. She preceded him in death in 2002. Slick was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed calf/steer roping, especially on Sundays with the family.

Survivors include his brother, Larry Jackson and wife Sandra of Burr Valley , OK; nieces, Kimberly (Jackson) Miller and husband Robert of Burr Valley, OK and Leslie Miller of Ada, OK; nephew, Cody Jackson and wife Halli of Stonewall, OK; great-niece, Cheyanne Miller of Lula, OK; great-nephew, Newt Jackson of Stonewall, OK; along

with numerous other loved family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, and brother Coil Gean Jackson.
