Coal County Disaster Task Force members loaded up and headed to Eagletown on April 5 at 9:00 a.m. to serve as backup for the Eagletown Fire Department during the April 8 total solar eclipse event. The convoy consisted of several vehicles loaded with gear that might possibly be needed for any incident that may arise - water rescue, wildland fires, structure fires, or search and rescue.
