Read moreErelene Westerveld (spelled Erlene Westerveild in court records), a 47-year-old female from Houston, TX, was arrested November 6 for knowingly concealing a dog that was allegedly stolen the previous day in Hugo. Also arrested was her companion, Stephen Zachary Maxwell, the driver of a white van that the couple was in. There have been numerous social media complaints over the past few months of Westerveld and Maxwell stealing dogs in several counties.
