Lela Kay Loudermilk

Funeral services for Lela Kay Loudermilk, an Alvarado, TX resident, will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Timothy John Loudermilk officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate is in charge of arrangements.

Lela was born September 21, 1951 to Ray John and Alberta Norene (Hinkle) Loudermilk at Coalgate, OK and passed away August 28, 2022 at Horseshoe Bay, TX at the age of 70 years, 11 months and 7 days. She was a waitress, caregiver and a Transportation Security Administrator at DFW Airport. Lela was of the Pentecostal Faith. She liked doing word games and playing scrabble.

Survivors include a daughter, Brandy R. Brooks and husband Jason of Sunrise Beach, TX; grandchildren, Torey Campbell of Arlington, TX, Bailey Brooks, Chase Brooks, both of Sunrise Beach, TX and Rylen Duong of Arlington, TX; sister Alice R. Johnson of Mansfield, TX; brothers, Danny R. Loudermilk of Alvarado, TX and Timothy J. Loudermilk of Gulf Shores, AL; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray John and Norene Loudermilk; sisters, Eva D. Bass and Delores Loudermilk; and brother, Charles S. Loudermilk.
