Mary Roselia Glass

Funeral services for Mary Roselia (Lamb) Glass, a Coalgate resident since 1990, formerly of Oregon, were held Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Rev. Joey Lansdale officiating. Burial was in Wardville Cemetery, Wardville, OK with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Glass was born August 19, 1937 to Ernest and Mildred (Isbell) Lamb at Phoenix, AZ and passed away November 10, 2019 at Coalgate, OK at the age of 82 years 2 months and 22 days. She attended Salt Prairie School in Coal County and married James “Jimmie” Lee Glass October 1, 1955 at Porter-ville, CA. He preceded her in death February 11, 2005. Mary was the Head Cook at Rosehaven Nursing Home in Rose-burg, OR. She was a devoted Christian, loved to play poker and bingo and loved watching western movies. Mary loved to hang out at Brandin Iron and Sonny’s coffee shop. She loved visiting friends and family and being involved at the nursing activities. Mary was a Choctaw Native.

Survivors include four children, Craig Allen Glass and wife Lula Mae of Winston, OR, Clifford Lee Glass and wife Fran, Mary Lynn Ingram and husband Dearl all of Coalgate, Charlene Marie Weakley and husband Jackie of Arlington, TX; brother, Arvell Lamb of Dove Creek, CO; grandchildren, Craig Allen Glass, Jr., April Glass, Shaunda Brown and husband Chuck, Joshua Ingram, Jacklyn Benitez and husband Roberto, Shelby Mikamo and husband Sidney; great-grandchildren, Christine Joy Glass, William Schmidt, Peggy Brown, James Brown and Nevaeh Ingram; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, David Lamb and Irwin Lamb and twin sister, Marie Steele.

Casketbearers were David Lamb, Joshua Ingram, William Schmit, James Brown, Chuck Brown, and Randall Steele. Honorary bearers were Daniel Lamb, Roberto Benitez and Sidney Mikamo.
