Funeral services for Michael Andrew Nanney, a Lehigh resident, were held Monday, January 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. Bobby Ziegler officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate.

Mr. Nanney was born October 12, 1959 to Darvin Nanney and Flora Marie Horn at Sulphur, OK and passed away January 5, 2025 at Oklahoma City at the age of 6 years, 2 months and 24 days. He attended school at Ravia and was an oil field operator. Michael loved fishing, hunting, looking for arrowheads and rocks. He liked to bird hunt just never did. Michael hated the government with a fiery passion and those that knew him knew it. He loved his motorcycle and 1976 Corvette he just bought. Most of all he loved his kids and grandkids.

Survivors include his children, Stephen Yochum and wife Beth of Silo, OK, Ricky Nanney and wife Christina of Ravia, OK, Naomi Snelson and husband Jeremy of Emory, TX and Stevie Nanney and wife Deserae Pitts of Lehigh, OK; grandchildren, Austin Neece, Mercedes Neece, Brian Richards, Brooklynn Nanney, Lydia Yochum, Kya Nanney, Peyton Mulder, Myles Yochum, Averigh Nanney, Emerie Nanney and Stryke Nanney, Kylie Holstine and Logan Holstine; brother, Darvin Nanney of Ravia, OK; sisters, Anne Hacker and husband Garret of Hells Center, TX, Monnie Rose of Lehigh, OK; ex-wife, Debbie Yochum; wife, Lisa Nanney; girlfriend Cynthia Blagg; along with numerous nieces, nephew, cousins and dearly loved friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Darvin Nanney and Flora Marie Horn; step-father, Alfred Needham; sister, Darlene Foshee; brother, Butch Nanney; brother-in-law, Leon Rose.
