Funeral services for Retha Peck-McCord, a Del City, OK resident, were held Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. David Boggs officiating. Burial was in Centrahoma Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Retha was born December 22, 1939 to Oscar Lee and Mae Nokel (Bicknell) Campbell at Stringtown, OK and passed away November 8, 2023 at the age of 83 years, 10 months and 17 days, at her home in Del City surrounded by her loved ones. She attended Stringtown School and Kiamichi Vo-Tech and obtained her GED at the age of 49. Retha worked at the Plastics Factory in Dallas and later worked for Home Health and Private Care for several years before retiring. She married Roy Floyd Peck in 1953 and they were married 51 years before he passed in June 2004. Retha later married Paul McCord Sr. in 2005. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed sewing and traveling.

Survivors include her husband, Paul McCord Sr. of the home in Del City, OK; sons, Allen Peck and wife Beccy of Coalgate, Ed Peck and wife Wanda of Centrahoma; daughter, Diania Maggia and husband Barry of Coalgate; stepsons, Mike McCord and wife Debra, Paul McCord Jr. and wife Sunday, all of Del City; step-daughter, Marian Wheeler and husband Mark of Lawton, OK; grandchildren, Bryan Peck and wife Stoni of Atoka, Joe Allen Peck and wife Candace of Perkins, OK, Andrea Duncan and husband James of Coalgate and Brandon Maggia and wife Summer of Calvin, OK; great-grandchildren, Brystol Butler, Ridge Duncan, Rayce Duncan, Brooklyn Peck, Cale Peck, Halle Jo Peck, Matthew Peck, Jovi Peck, Annie Peck, Phoenix Peck, Chipper Maggia, Jordan McCord, Kevin McCord and Lauren Scott; special niece, Tammy White and husband Don of Ada, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dearly loved friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Peck; son, Floyd Peck; grandson, Kelly Peck; parents, Oscar and Mae Campbell; sisters, Reba Faye and Woodsie Campbell; and brothers, Jessie, Cecil and Ellis Campbell.

Casketbearers were Bryan Peck, Joe Allen Peck, Brandon Maggia, Cale Peck, Delbert Peck, and Kenny Pearce. Honorary bearers were Daniel Campbell, James Duncan, Ridge Duncan, Mike McCord and Paul McCord Jr.
