Sandra Kay Yarbrough

Funeral services for Sandra Kay Yarbrough, a Lehigh resident, will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Pastor David Unsell officiating. Burial will be in Lehigh Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Yarbrough was born December 4, 1953 to Leroy Gordan and Juanita Marie (Cottrell) Franklin at Coalgate, OK and passed away June 25, 2023 at Lehigh, OK at the age of 69 years, 6 months and 21 days. She attended Lehigh and Coalgate schools and married Jerry Eugene Yarbrough on July 30, 1970 at Lehigh, OK. They spent many years together until his passing on January 25, 2009. Kay was a Clerk for the City of Lehigh and also worked at Coalgate School as the cafeteria manager. She was a member of the Lehigh Baptist Church and enjoyed doing puzzles, canasta, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Becky Yarbrough and Will, Cheryl Young and husband Tim, and Melissa Yarbrough all of Lehigh; granddaughters, Shelby Villareal and Dusty of Lehigh, Chelsea Finch and husband Eric of Coalgate, Brianna Keiser of Lehigh, Kendra Coslow and Dylan of Atoka, Shaylyn Coslow of Lehigh; grandsons, Dustin Ybarra and wife Kayley of Tupelo, Tyler Coslow and Halee of Atoka, Hunter Coslow and Katelyn of Lehigh; fifteen greatgrandchildren; brothers, David Franklin and wife Sally, Ronnie Franklin and wife Rhonda all of Lehigh; sisters, Sue Yarbrough and husband Louis of Lehigh and Nancy Johnson and husband Billy of Coalgate; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends of Jokers R Wild Canasta Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Eugene Yarbrough; parents, Leroy Gordan and Juanita Marie (Cottrell) Franklin; and sister, Linda Thorpe.

Casketbearers will be Roy Yarbrough, Dino Franklin, Lucas Franklin, Willard Delozier, Dylan Franklin and Bo Franklin. Honorary bearers will be Justin Franklin, Daniel Roebuck, Brent Johnson, Mike Delozier and Bubba Delozier.
