Service to be Held for Tupelo Graduate Norrene Leona Marie (D’Aguanno) Stevens

Funeral services for Norrene Leona Marie (D’Aguanno) Stevens, a Tupelo resident, will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Pastor Larry Beach, Brad Tisdale, Bryer Martin and Pastor Roger Brown officiating. Interment is pending. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate. Family night is Friday 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family request everyone wear Norrene’s favorite color which was purple.

Noreene was born on October 10, 1983, to Billy Joe D’Aguanno and Norrene (McDonnell) Chamberlain, at Temple, Texas. She passed away on April 4, 2025, at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 41 years, 5 months and 25 days. Norrene attended Tupelo Schools and graduated in 2002. She attended Seminole State College. Norrene worked as an executive assistant for the Office of Housing and Grants Services for the Chickasaw Nation.

She married Louis Robert Stevens on July 7, 2007, at Ada, Oklahoma. They enjoyed 17 years together before her passing. Norrene was a faithful member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Tupelo. Her passion was helping with “Oh Yeah” Missions.

She loved riding Harley Davidson motorcycles with her husband and friends. Norrene enjoyed watching the ID Channel. She liked to decorate the gravesites of her loved ones, always putting new flowers for each season and holiday. She made friends everywhere she went. Norrene loved reading her Bible and praying. Her favorite times were spent with her loved ones, especially her grandbabies.

Survivors include husband, Louis Robert Stevens of the home in Tupelo, OK; daughters, Danielle Stevens of Tupelo, OK, Sky Avery and Justin of McAlester, OK; brothers: John D’Aguanno and Kallie of Tupelo, OK, Bobby Chamberlain and Becky of Tupelo, OK, Jimmy Chamberlain and Sandi of Wellington, KS, Marc Chamberlain and Ruth of Tupelo, OK; sister, Renee Reiser and Jon of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren, Jesse Stevens, Noah Gregor, Luke Avery, Abel Avery and Adalie Avery; grandmother, Alice Mc-Donnell of Staten Island, NY; aunts, Sharron Boudreau of Hazlet, NJ, Jamie O’Connell and Chris of New Egypt, NJ; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many dearly loved friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Joe D’Aguanno; mother, Norrene (Mc-Donnell) Chamberlain; grandfather James Mc-Donnell; son, Jesse Stevens; grandmother Lucy Pittman; nephew, Kyler D’Aguanno; special friends, Johnny Rogers and Garrett Lawson Casketbearers will be Kenny McIninch, Kyle Martin, Jeff Hayes, Tom Patterson, Cody Reynolds, and Jaylen Brow. Serving as honorary casketbearers will be Louis Stevens, John D’Aguanno, Bobby Chamberlain, Jimmy Chamberlain and Marc Chamberlain.
