Service Friday for David “Sonny” Abe Williams

Service for David “Sonny” Abe Williams a Caney, OK resident, will be held Friday, February 4 ^th , 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Atoka Funeral Home, Atoka, Oklahoma with Dennis Powell officiating. Burial will be in Bera Cemetery, Atoka, Oklahoma with Atoka Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

David was born on Monday, March 1, 1948, to Abraham and Levicey (Jones) Williams, at Atoka, OK. and passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Durant, OK. at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 29 days. He attended Atoka Public School. Sonny was a general laborer in construction. Sonny loved tinkering around on anything he could get his hands on, mowing, listening to music, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Roseann Williams of the home in Caney, OK; children, Tracy Williams of Coalgate, OK; Chris Williams and wife Merri of Checotah, OK; Carey Dawn Williams and husband Stacey of Phillips, OK; Stephanie Williams of Atoka, OK; Stacey Williams and wife Sabrina of Harmony, OK; Sheena Mansell and husband Keith of Harmony, OK, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, siblings, Bobby Hunt and wife Linda of Atoka, OK and Sherry Arles and husband Larry of Atoka, OK, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Abraham and Levicey (Jones) Williams, step father, Bobby Gene Hunt, granddaughter Lesli Lyda, sisters, Jennie Hunt, Linda Holden and brothers, Clifford Hyatt and Johnny Johnston.
