Service held for Chester Dean Edge

Funeral services for Chester Delton Edge of Stringtown were held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Atoka Funeral Home Chapel in Atoka with Rev. Brent Davis officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester, OK with Atoka Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Edge was born to Loyd and Ella Mae Edge and passed away October 21, 2018 at Atoka, OK at the age of 80. He was an employee of the City of Atoka.

Survivors include two daughters, Kara Edge of Atoka, and Kaci Lam-kin of Chicago, IL; five grandchildren, Keith Stotler, Katie Stotler, both of Murfreesboro, TN, Kennedie Edge of Durant, OK, Kaitlyn Lamkin of Chicago, IL, Kade Walters of Wapanucka, OK; two brothers, Arlie Edge and wife Billie of New Kirk, OK and Charlie Edge and wife Nancy of Plano, TX; also several nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Franklin Edge; one daughter, Kelly Stotler; one grandson, Trey Lamkin; four brothers, Lawrence Edge, Loyd Edge Jr., Herman Edge and Tommy Edge; two sisters, Jessie Couch and Lou May.
