Leroy McKeen

Graveside services for Leroy McKeen, a Coalgate resident, were held Monday November 16, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at McCarty Cemetery with Jessie Major officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. McKeen was born September 24, 1956 to Roy “Pete” Jr. and Betty Sue (Williams) McKeen at Pauls Valley, OK and passed away November 11, 2020 at Coalgate, OK at the age of 64 years, 1 month and 18 days. He graduated from Coalgate High School and was a truck driver. Leroy was a member of the Oklahoma National Guard from 1976-1980.

Survivors include his son, Nathan McKeen; brother, Roy Lee McKeen of Helena, OK and Donald Gene McKeen of Scott Air Force Base, IL; sister, Mary Ellen Hines of Phillips, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins from numerous states.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Roy “Pete” McKeen, Jr. and Betty Sue (Williams) McKeen and infant sister, Jeannie Sue McKeen.
