Althear was born on Thursday, June 21, 1952, to Jessie Willard and Elree (Burton) Harrison, in Atoka, OK. Althear graduated from Atoka High School in 1970 and attended Murray State College and became a CNA. She married Simon Finley, Jr. on Saturday, September 17, 1977, in Atoka, OK. She was a member of the 4 Ward Church of Christ. She lived to shop, go to church, and spend time with her family, and her favorite color was red.
