It is with a heavy heart that we convey that our beloved Matthew Chase Ermis, a Lehigh resident, went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2020. A Memorial Service will be held at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate at a date to be announced.

She was born August 24, 1945 to Richard “Bobbie” and Ermadean (Eddings) Hobgood at Ada, OK. Mrs. Boyd graduated from Coalgate High School and attended South Oklahoma City Community College where she received an Associate Degree. She was a travel agent, worked for a title and abstract company and was a hairdresser. Phyllis married Thurman James Boyd January 7, 1963 in Atoka, OK. She loved to travel and loved gardening.... there wasn’t anything she couldn’t grow. Everyone loved her amazing breakfasts and the sweets she always made too many of. They mostly loved when she got the silly giggles and couldn’t stop laughing. Phyllis will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
