Ronnie Lee Rainey

A memorial service for Ronnie Lee Rainey, a Coalgate resident, was held Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Phillip Magby officiating.

Ronnie was born May 10, 1949, to Edward Lee and Marie (Jones) Rainey at Coalgate and passed away August 16, 2022, at Coalgate at the age of 73 years, 3 months, and 6 days. He graduated from Coalgate High School and was a CNA at Mary Hurley Hospital. Ronnie was a member of the Coalgate Church of Christ. He enjoyed raising animals and fishing and his favorite times were spent with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Chris Rainey and wife Stacy of Goldsby, OK; daughter, Jerica Thompson and husband Jason of Coalgate; grandchildren, Molly Rainey, Nathan Rainey, both of Goldsby, OK, Brian Courson and wife Erica,

Shacole Judd and husband Dakota and Kenley Thompson, all of Coalgate; greatg randchildren, Brynleigh, Rocco, Tucker and Blaydon Courson, Aksel, Bryor, Liam and Rori Judd; sister, Debbie Southern of Coalgate; brother, Mike Jones and wife Carol of Noble, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dearly loved friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Lee and Marie (Jones) Rainey; sister, Kay Willard; greatgranddaughter, Tulsi Courson; and brother-in-law, Orval Southern.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Winsor Animal Clinic.
