Service held for Elvira Marie Riley

Funeral services for Elvira Marie Riley, a longtime Olney resident, were held Monday, January 20, 2020 at at 2:00 at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Pastor Jim Horath officiating, assisted by Rev. Bobby Richardson. Burial was in Riley Cemetery in Olney with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Riley was born October 24, 1931 to Franklin “Frank” Drawbaugh Sr. and Mary Ethel (Pickett) Drawbaugh in Lehigh, OK and passed away January 14, 2020 at Olney, OK at the age of 88 years, 2 months and 21 days. She attended and graduated from Olney High School in

1950 and married Ira Lee Riley on June 17, 1950. He preceded her in death on March 15, 2005. Elvira worked at Blue Bell/Wrangler and V. F. Corporation for 21 years but in later years she was a homemaker. She was a longtime member of the Olney Baptist Church. Elvira enjoyed reading, puzzles, sewing, gardening and her chickens She loved her family and her farm life.

Survivors include her children, Jerry Riley and wife Vickie of Coalgate, Carolyn Loudermilk and husband Dan of Alvarado, TX, Juanita Gregery and husband Tim of Ada, Loyd Riley and wife Denise, Paul Riley and wife Michelle, all of Coalgate, Cynthia Riley and special friend David James of Farris, OK and Naomi Eubank and husband Jackie of Cleburne, TX; thirty-nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; brother, Freddie Drawbaugh of Sulphur, OK; sister Ester Newlin and husband William of Hooks, TX; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sons, Andy Franklin Riley and Theadore Riley; brothers, David Drawbaugh, Oliver Drawbaugh, Joe Drawbaugh, Clyde Drawbaugh and Arthur Drawbaugh; and sister, Josephine Drawbaugh.

Casketbearers were Samuel Bass, Anthony Loudermilk, Shawn Riley, Michael Riley, Larry Michael Chastain, Cody Boyd and Christopher Riley. Honorary casketbearers were Andy Riley, Jason Riley, Johnathan Riley, Julian Riley, Austin Riley, Donovan Riley, Denver Riley, Ryan Riley and Declan Riley.
