Thursday, August 30. Antlers 8 vs Coalgate Lady Cats 10. Coalgate Wildcats Varsity Grabs Lead in Fifth Inning to Defeat Antlers. Coalgate Lady Cats took the lead late in the game in a 10-8 victory over Antlers on Thursday. The Lady Cats was down 8-7 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Braelynn Wardrope singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs. Both offenses were strong at the plate as Coalgate collected nine hits and Antlers 13 in the high-scoring affair . Chloe Brown toed the rubber for the Lady Cats. She lasted five innings, allowing 13 hits and eight runs while striking out one and walking zero. Antlers pitcher went four and two-thirds innings, allowing ten runs on nine hits and striking out five. Coalgate socked one home run on the day when Katyn Denson went yard in the fourth inning. Coalgate had nine hits in the game. Brianna Hale, Denson, and Wardrope all collected multiple hits for the Lady Cats, each collected two hits to lead the team.
Thursday, August 30. Coalgate Lady Cats 0 vs Broken Bow 1. Broken Bow Bests Coalgate Wildcats Varsity In Close Game. Both teams were strong in the pitcher’s circle on Thursday, but Broken Bow was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Coalgate on Thursday. Annie Yanez started the game for Coalgate Wildcats Varsity and recorded nine outs. One bright spot for Coalgate Wildcats Varsity was a single by Yanez in the second inning. Yanez led things off on the rubber for Coalgate Wildcats Varsity. She allowed three hits and one run over three innings, striking out five. Shea Linton, Brianna Hale, and Yanez each managed one hit to lead Coalgate. Game was cut short due to a lengthy injury too one of Broken Bow’s players, in a time limited game.
Thursday, August 30. Tishomingo 1 vs 6 Coalgate Lady Cats. Coalgate Wildcats Varsity Takes Victory Over Tishomingo, 6-1. Coalgate Lady Cats beat Tishomingo 6-1 on Thursday. In the first inning, the Lady Cats got their offense started, with a triple by Annie Yanez on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs. Chloe Brown was on the rubber for Coalgate. She went five innings, allowing one run on four hits and striking out one. Tishomingo’s pitcher lasted five innings, allowing the Lady Cats 13 hits and six runs while striking out six and walking one. Caitlyn Sandlin, Katyn Denson, Yanez, Brown, and Braelynn Wardrope all managed multiple hits for Coalgate Wildcats Varsity. Denson and Sandlin each collected three hits to lead Coalgate to the victory.
Thursday, August 30. Silo 7 vs Coalgate Lady Cats 6. Coalgate Wildcats Varsity Falls to Silo After Fourth Inning Score. Coalgate stayed in it until the end, but Silo pulled away late in a 7-6 victory on Thursday. The game was tied at six with Silo batting in the top of the fourth when they went ahead, scoring one run. Despite the loss, the Lady Cats did collect 11 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Silo had eight hits on the way to victory. Coalgate fired up the scoring three runs in the third inning. The Lady Cat batters contributing to the big inning included Shea Linton and Rylie Wood, all driving in runs in the inning. Annie Yanez was on the rubber for Coalgate. She lasted one inning, allowing two hits and three runs with Chloe Brown throwing three innings out of the bullpen. The Lady Cats tallied 11 hits in the game with Linton, Yanez, Wood, and Katyn Denson each collected multiple hits for Coalgate. Linton went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Lady Cats in hits.

Tuesday, September 04. Coalgate Lady Cats 1 vs Stratford 0. Chloe Throws Shutout as Coalgate Wildcats Varsity Defeats Stratford. Chloe Brown threw a shutout to lead the Coalgate Lady Cats defense past Stratford 11-0 on Tuesday. Katyn Denson led Coalgate to victory by driving in four runs. She went 3-for-3 at the plate, driving in runs on a double in the first, a triple in the third, and a home run in the fifth. Coalgate opened up scoring in the first inning when Brianna Hale doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. The Lady Cats notched five runs in the third inning. Caitlyn Sandlin, Jaxie Wilson, Rylie Wood, Denson, and Annie Yanez all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning. Brown was in the pitcher’s circle for Coalgate. She went five innings, allowing zero runs on four hits, striking out one and walking one. Stratford.’s pitcher allowed 15 hits and 11 runs over five innings, striking out five and walking one. Coalgate Wildcats Varsity socked one home run on the day. Denson had a four bagger in the fifth inning. Coalgate Wildcats Varsity racked up 15 hits on the day. Wood, Denson, Yanez, and Wilson all managed multiple hits for Coalgate Wildcats Varsity. Wood led Coalgate Wildcats Varsity with four hits in four at bats. Coalgate Wildcats Varsity didn’t commit a single error in the field. Shea Linton had six chances in the field, the most on the team. Stratford was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error.
Tuesday, September 04 . Stratford 6 vs Coalgate Lady Cats 10. Coalgate Wildcats Varsity Takes Victory in High-Scoring Game Over Stratford, 10-6
Both pitching staffs had their hands full on Tuesday in a high-scoring affair where Coalgate Wildcats Varsity bested Stratford, 10-6. Coalgate Wildcats Varsity got things moving in the first inning, when Shea Linton drew a walk, scoring one run. Stratford scored three runs in the second inning. The big inning for Stratford came thanks to walks by #23 and #10 and a single by #12. Annie Yanez led things off on the rubber for Coalgate Wildcats Varsity. She went one and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on one hit and striking out two. #30 started the game for Stratford. She allowed four hits and nine runs over three and a third innings, striking out six. #12 threw two and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen. Coalgate Wildcats Varsity tallied one home run on the day. Katyn Denson went yard in the fifth inning. Coalgate Wildcats Varsity racked up nine hits on the day. Denson, Caitlyn Sandlin, and Chloe Brown each collected multiple hits for Coalgate Wildcats Varsity. Denson went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Coalgate Wildcats Varsity in hits. Stratford tallied nine hits. #12 and #22 all had multiple hits for Stratford. Stratford didn’t commit a single error in the field. #10 had the most chances in the field with seven. The Lady Cats record improves to 15-11 on the year.
