The court records as well as an article state that Coal County Undersheriff Jesse Yother was charged with two felonies - one for intimidation of witness and one for obstructing an officer. Coal County Sheriff Jason Smith and Undersheriff Jesse Yother were both arrested last week after the Oklahoma Multi-County Grand Jury returned indictments in connection with a July 26, 2025 incident involving allegations of domestic assault and battery, assault and battery, witness intimidation, and obstruction of justice.
