In the annual Boggy Bottom Bowl, the visiting Coalgate Wildcats scored a nice 25-6 win over the Atoka Wampus Cats. In their next game, the Wildcats play the Holdenville Wolverines in a 2A-II District 2 challenge, on Friday, September 26. Coalgate will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 44-0 non-league win over Wewoka and a commanding 78-0 win over Okemah.
