The band has not qualified for state band contest since 1963 which was 62 years ago. This is a huge accomplishment for the band! On April 1, 2025 the band performed at state band contest at ECU. The band had their best performance at state! We received an Excellent Rating on stage and in sightreading! These students have worked really hard all year and have made school history this year. I am very proud of each and everyone of them! This group is only going to get better and better. The future is very bright! I am excited to be the band director here and can’t wait to see what we achieve in the future!
